SPECIFICATIONS
This high-grade lightweight titanium exhaust system is a premium upgrade for the BMW M440i & M340i, designed to enhance performance, sound, and aesthetics. The system is finished with hand-crafted carbon-fiber tailpipes and includes a high-grade austenitic stainless-steel link pipe set for durability and superior performance. Each side of the system features carefully calibrated valves that tailor the exhaust sound, while two acoustic reflectors on the tailpipes direct sound into the cabin, providing an immersive driving experience.
The Akrapovič Evolution Line (Titanium) exhaust system includes an additional valve compared to the stock configuration, managed by an included TNG controller. This system is further refined with two specially tuned resonators, developed specifically for this engine, which produce a deep, rich, and sporty sound perfectly aligned with the straight six-cylinder engine. The system weighs just 21.7 kg, making it 23% lighter than the stock exhaust, which contributes to better handling and performance. Dyno testing on the Akrapovič equipment revealed power gains of 8.7 kW (11.8 hp) at 5,600 rpm and a torque increase of 17.1 Nm at 4,100 rpm when compared to the standard stock exhaust, showcasing its performance benefits.
Crafted with intricate components made in Akrapovič’s in-house foundry, this system is intended for track use only and is designed for non-OPF vehicles. It’s important to note that both product codes, S-BM/T/30H and E-BM/SS/8, are included together due to packaging requirements to complete the installation of this exhaust system.
